You will be given two class periods to research an explorer below and create a PowerPoint Presentation explaining the life, motivation and achievements of your particular intrepid traveler using your book and the Internet. View the rubric so that you know what you'll be graded on. Some questions to concern yourselves with, but not limit yourselves to are as follows.
Where did your traveler explore?
Why did he explore this area?
What country did he come from?
What did your explorer look like?
Who sponsored (supported) your traveler?
What lasting impact did your explorer have on European history and/or the world?
